Frenchtown Riverfest This Weekend!
Are you still trying to figure out what to do this Labor Day Weekend? Visit Frenchtown, NJ and enjoy their 6th annual Riverfest!
This year's Riverfest is Mardi Gras themed so get out your masks and beads and come support the event!
Riverfest will kick off on Friday, September 3rd with Wine Tasting under the Big Tent from 6:00 - 8:30pm. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Be sure to get yours early! On Saturday and Sunday, festivities will be taking place from 12:00 - 6:00pm on Bridge Street. There will be live music, arts, crafts, food, vendors, games, and a pet contest. At 2:00pm on both days, there will be a sidewalk Parade of Kids all decked out on their Mardi Gras attire. Be sure to attend and catch some beads! The more, the better!
The highlight of the weekend will take place on Sunday at 2pm. This is when the pet contest will take place! Come see your favorite critters dressed up a Mardi Gras costume. There will be more than a dozen categories for awards so cheer on your favorite!
This will be a great way to say your farewell to summer. This event benefits the Hunterdon Human Shelterso please come show your support and celebrate Labor Day Weekend at Riverfest.
