Daylight Saving starts this Sunday, March 11, 2007, three weeks earlier than in past years. This means there is a little more to think about than merely adjusting clocks.

Calendar software, such as Outlook, computer systems like Windows XP and Apple's OS X, will need to have the new time programmed in, as well as, digital cameras, camcorders,  personal digital assistants or PDAs may also need fixing.

If you have your computer set for automatic update, you are most likely good to go on your computer. Visit the websites for your other products to determine what needs to be done.

The decision to extend Daylight Saving Time affects only the United States and Canada and not overseas. something to remember if you make international calls.
